In the scope of Financial Literacy, the Library of AEMaximinos - Frei Caetano Brandão, trained 5th year students to distinguish between the essential and the superfluous information from an early age. A highly participatory activity in which the promotion of reading is a priority.

As part of the Minho Writers Meeting | Lídia Borges, an initiative of the Braga Libraries Network, the students of class 10 of Gandra's EB1 and the teacher Cristiana Paço brilliantly represented Maximinos' AE at the Closing Soiree with the pieces Contar Coisas Boas and Sonhos Dançados...
This event allowed students to get in touch with the work of this author from Minho, while providing them with citizenship experiences, within the scope of active participation in cultural events and interpersonal relationships.
The final of the oral competition "My World" took place last wednesday, the 3rd of May.
This competition is the result of the English teacher's group (330) articulation with the school library and it mobilizes the students from 7th to 12th grades.
The participants had a exemplary participation and gave a positive feedback to the activity.
